MURIELLE SITRUK
To put an end to the age-old "pink for girls" and all the other stereotypes that have a hard edge from childhood, Murielle co-founded "Pourquoi Princesse" with Laura Drewett. Pourquoi Princesse is an e-shop that offers a "gender neutral" universe to widen the fields of possibility shown to girls without restricting their imagination and creativity by offering products that reflect all their passions.
Enthused, Chardon Paris wanted to get Murielle to empty her purse!
Who are you?
I am Murielle Sitruk, I am an entrepreneur and live with my family in Paris (although I am from Marseilles for ever!). I have 2 daughters, Salomé 14 and Ella 10.
I co-founded Pourquoi Princesse, the first media brand that decided to shake up gender stereotypes to give the power back to girls (and boys!).
What bags do you use on a daily basis?
So for the last 3 years, I have also been doing consultancy and I travel with my office ... so I use a Chrome backpack and a very small handbag!
The weekend just the tiny bag :) (and a tote bag!)
What do you take with you?
My papers, my phone, my cards, a wallet, a pocket for tickets, my car keys
How do you find your keys?
Now they are in my pockets or in my tote bag ... only the car keys fit in my bag ...
What do you take with you on holiday?
The same as the rest of the year ... with an extra pocket for sun cream and sunglasses! (so a tote bag in addition to the small bag .... of course...)
An anecdote (a (mis)adventure with a bag ...)?
I have a bad habit of not closing my bags .... so I regularly spill the contents... in the street, in the car, in the metro...
Do Parisian women have a specific relationship with their bags?
I think I have, at least I think I've heard "your bag is beautiful" a thousand times (to me :) or around me, or by myself !)
Any last words?
