The Clouds
Clouds have fascinated me since the confinement I think... The moment I started to look up instead of down. That moment when everything seemed to stop while the clouds continued their course. And it was this movement, this elusive material, these infinite shades, this lightness that moved me and made me want to paint them.
The clouds humbly bring us back to our mortal condition. We pass by just like them.
After a career as an actress, Candice Lartigue discovered painting and a new mode of artistic expression. Eager to create, she plays with supports, colours, materials and light. In a permanent quest for beauty and harmony. Whether through subjects such as nature, women, children... or any form of abstraction. So many "stagings" that always echo her first love.
