The Galerie des amis de Chardon Paris brings together artists who touch us. The Gallery is a showcase to share a glimpse of their work, a window to an elsewhere, which refreshes the eye to see life with new colours.
Born in Nancy in 1977, Caroline Ambonville is a photographer. After years living in Paris, she moved to Saint-Malo in 2020, where she works as a doctor and hospital practitioner, specializing in diabetes and endocrine diseases. Her work focuses on "the exploration of Breton territory, but also of those strange and elusive moments when everything can turn upside down, go somewhere else, when, in any case, everything will eventually happen, as time passes and slowly (inevitably) slips away".
Throughout his career as an advertising designer, Pierre-Ivan Bouffard has played with words against images: in echo, in counterpoint, in shift... He develops in his collages a poetic graphics supported by anodyne sentences that suddenly slip to take the story in the opposite direction... But the accidents are here without gravity, telescoping of absurd ideas, pile-ups of ink and paper.
Cassandre Montoriol is a French illustrator. Her traditional gouache drawings are very popular within the fashion publishing world. Her expressive, hand-drawn aesthetic is reminiscent of travel journals, fashion illustration and textile design, which is perhaps why her feminine style is so often commissioned in the pages of high-end fashion magazines. Recently, Cassandre has been illustrating verdant city scenes and retail interiors, from tiny, cluttered bookstores to imposing, gleaming shopping malls.
