Because we rarely go home once we've left in the morning and because our days are often long, our bag is the indispensable ally in our daily lives. Computer, files, sports equipment, children's toys, shopping, we often need to have everything within reach, even though we live several days in one. How can we carry all this stuff around without getting bogged down with 1001 containers?
Chardon Paris is committed to reinventing everyday objects to make them beautiful to look at and ultra-functional to use. To this end, we have created Le Journée.
A MAGICAL CAPACITY
Like Mary Poppins' bag, the Day has a magical capacity!
It unfolds or folds its wings according to your needs throughout the day. In the morning it takes the form of a tote bag in which you can slip your computer and files.
At the end of the day, it spreads its wings to accommodate a few groceries, your sports gear or even a yoga mat. Going out again? Pull on the straps, the day adapts immediately to its contents, and all you have to do is slip it over your shoulder.
A GRAPHIC and ROBUST BAG
With its leather and canvas inserts and wings that fold into the sides, the Journée has a very graphic look. Stiff, but not too stiff; deployed or folded, it holds its place and can be landed without collapsing.
There are two versions, depending on whether you want the sides of your bag to be completely or partially covered in leather.
A MOBILE POUCH
Inside the Day, a canvas pocket is inserted to hold your phone, keys or other essentials. Completely nomadic, it transforms into a mini shoulder bag when you want to lighten up and leave your tote bag at the office.
DES MATIER NOBLES : From renowned French tanneries, the leather used is a full grain leather, drummed, satin matte, with a very natural touch. It has a supple and natural hand and its grain is very fine. Robust and elegant, the canvas comes from a great Italian firm and is adapted to withstand all weathers.
THE ART OF DETAIL : The elegance of Chardon Paris objects is found in the smallest details: the contrasting dyeing of the edges, handmade for greater precision, the precision of the seams, or the choice of matching colours to make your LE JOURNÉE tote bag much more than an everyday object.
A variety of colours! Because "tastes and colours are not debatable", we have chosen to offer several coloured versions, depending on whether you want a "canvas" or "leather" version, thus increasing the possibilities. Other colours will soon join the site, in the form of limited editions or not.
