Chardon Paris ... in New York

Capucine Graby's addresses in New York

Capucine Graby, journalist, reporter and founder of the inspirational magazine MyMoonSpots, lived in New York for many months with her children a few years ago.
She returns regularly to recuperate some of its light and contagious energy, which is necessary for her life as an entrepreneur.
She went there again 10 days ago, and found a city that had calmed down, that seemed to be waking up and stretching itself after a long sleep. A city not yet tired of the hordes of tourists. But a city that still exudes creative audacity, impertinence, and the absence of judgment that allows us to move forward in complete freedom.

A very New York dinner

Held in masterly fashion by the French culinary star in NYC, Jean Georges, ABC Cocina is a little gem.

The chef revisits a fusion version of dishes to share, spicy chicken tacos, just grilled and breaded calamari to die for, melting cevice... The resonance is very Mexican and we enjoy it.
A stone's throw from the flatiron building, in a loft-like setting.
Sparkling and generous service for a very, very nice moment.

Italian colour in Bushwick

Customers wisely wait in a queue that stretches across the middle of Bushwick.

They understand that the best pizza in New York has to be earned. Housed in a former garage, the founders of Roberta'sThe slow food founders don't take themselves too seriously, even though they've managed to attract the whole of trendy New York to the depths of Brooklyn. It's an opportunity for a nice stroll through the intoxicating Bushwick neighbourhood.

Here, the artistic fever is unleashed, the walls are coloured with street art and you can feel a place that is still a little rebellious and in the process of transformation. You've got it, my New York favourite.

A lunch with Lebanese vibrations

I really like the atmosphere of 19 ClevelandI love the atmosphere of the place, in Soho and a stone's throw from my beloved Nolita.

An address that doesn't take itself too seriously, with a mix of tasty hummus and crispy falafel.

A crab restaurant on the waterfront in front of the Statue of Liberty

Head to southern Brooklyn (cross the mythical Brooklyn Bridge if you like to walk!) and the still fallow and artsy neighborhood of RedHook. Head south behind the Fairway shop. Welcome to the remains of one of the oldest ports in the United States.
The change of scenery is total. The sea as far as the eye can see, a gentle breeze and calm. New Yorkers come here on their bikes to take a breath of fresh air at weekends. Two blocks away, a restaurant that has become an institution over the years: Brooklyn CrabIt's all made of wood, like a fisherman's hut. Here you can order popcorn from Shrimps and crab sandwiches stuffed with mayonnaise. It's a Cape Cod or Marthas's Vineyard atmosphere, just a stone's throw from Manhattan.

A yoga shop

You can see them all walking around Manhattan with a mat under their arm, but the best indication that this sport has taken on an incredible, if not delirious, importance in NY is the countless number of yoga shops.

I already had my favourites, including LuLuLemon, for her leggings that don't move, but now I have to count on AloThe concept is the same, and it's all over Manhattan and as far away as Williamsburg. The concept, identical, is declined over and over again: powerful music, shops on several floors, saleswomen connected and at the top of the trendiness, here it is the paradise of bras and leggings imagined in colours and materials always as crazy.

I love the Alo de-stressing oil to apply after any yoga class to enhance the effects.

My favourite museum, facing the Hudson River

The Whitney Museumwas founded by Gertrude Whitney who was both an artist and a patron of the arts.

For its cutting-edge contemporary programme. There is currently a retrospective of the artist Jasper Johns.

Its permanent collection also includes subtle Hopper, Calder and Man Ray...

For its contemporary architecture (the museum was designed by Renzo Piano).

Finally, for its location, I love to stop there after strolling along the high line from Thomas Heatherwick's Vessel, and see the Hudson River and the view of Jersey City.
